Clinical Child and Pediatric Psychology Training Council
The purpose of the Clinical Child and Pediatric Psychology Training Council (CCaPPTC) is to promote the advancement of graduate and postgraduate education and training within the fields of clinical child and adolescent psychology and pediatric psychology. Established in 2016, CCaPPTC includes representatives from doctoral, doctoral internship, and postdoctoral programs involved in the education and training of psychologists who work with children, adolescents and families in a range of settings and systems for a variety of mental health issues and health issues with psychological concomitants that utilize evidence-based and competences oriented approaches, and that include establishing the scientific bases and applications in service delivery of health service psychology.
Consistent with this purpose, CCaPPTC member programs shall strive to educate and train future clinical child and adolescent psychologists and/or pediatric psychologists to promote human welfare and to advance the growth of CCaPP science and practice.
